A curved bezel-less phone screen protector with full-screen adhesive was to be developed by Whitestone Dome. For a long time, plastic and urethane screen protectors were the only options, but these don't truly protect your phone. 

They are prone to scratches and even reduce transparency, not to mention that the mere act of putting them on can cause greasy smudges or air bubbles. After that, tempered glass protectors were invented, protecting your screen and keeping it crystal clear. Other well-known brands advertise themselves as having full-cover tempered glass screen protectors, but that is not the case. 

Typically, these covers cover only the flat side of your device and use black adhesive along the side to hide lifting, or they have a poorly implemented Dot-Matrix that is prone to touchscreen errors and produces a rainbow/blurry effect.
